Have you ever found yourself:

  9. Continuing to drink, even when the you know you have a physical or psychological problem that could have been caused or made worse by your drinking?
  10. Needing to drink more to get the effect you want?
  11. Development of withdrawal symptoms, which can be relieved by drinking?

The possible severity of the issue can be measured by the number of the “Yes” answers you gave.

2-3 may indicate a mild problem

4-5 may indicate a moderate problem, and

6 or more may indicate a severe substance use disorder.
